BABYRHYTHM

3 a.m.
Log it with one thumb and lie back down.

A feeding and diaper log for newborns. Everything else was taken out so it fits in three seconds.

One button

Tap the button at the bottom of the screen and it is logged right there. No time picker — it uses now. The amount isn't left blank either: the usual value, worked out from your recent entries, is already filled in, so on an ordinary feed you just leave it.

Tapped by mistake? Undo it within a few seconds. At night an undo beats a confirmation dialog — a dialog wakes you one more time.

You can also time a feed from the Lock Screen widget, without opening the app. If you forget to stop it, it closes itself at 60 minutes — falling asleep mid-feed doesn't leave a "six hour feed" in your log.

It answers in sentences

Once entries pile up, the app speaks first. "The rhythm looks steady." "Three wet diapers today (6 or more recommended)." You don't have to read a table and judge for yourself.

It counts a usual day over the last seven days — feeds, wet and dirty diapers — and tells you how far today sits from that. Your typical feeding interval and last night's longest stretch come with it. Showing a number and telling you whether that number is worth worrying about are different things.

Reference ranges come from the World Health Organization (WHO), the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and the UK NHS. This is observation, not diagnosis — the same screen tells you to consult a professional if anything concerns you.

What piles up starts to show

Feed count, wet and dirty diapers, feeding intervals and formula volume — daily, weekly, monthly. What a single day can't show becomes a line after a few weeks.

The 24-hour rhythm shows when feeds cluster. You get the share across early morning, morning, afternoon and evening, and how last night's longest stretch compared with the usual one — on a single screen.

Both parents, one log

What one of you writes shows up on the other's phone, and a notification tells you when your partner logs something — so nobody has to ask "did you feed her?"

There is no account to create. Send an invite link and it connects through each of your iCloud. No username, no password, no sign-in screen.

There is no server

Records live only in your own iCloud. There is no developer server, and no analytics or ads were added. The App Store privacy label reads "Data Not Collected."

The rhythm insight is written on the device too. On iPhones running iOS 26 with Apple Intelligence an on-device model phrases it; elsewhere the same content is composed by rules. Either way your baby's records never leave the phone.

What is not in it

Growth curves · Vaccinations · Sleep · Solids · Community · Ads · Sign-in

Having fewer features is the design. Every addition is another screen, and every screen moves the button one step further away at 3 a.m. Those three seconds are what this app protects.

If you want an all-in-one parenting app, several good ones already exist. BabyRhythm does feeds and diapers, and the rhythm you can read from them.
